Thanks for the suggestions! I usually roll all my packables and it is a great thing -- especially good for pants. I could almost roll this dress but am too chicken. My plan is to stuff the dress lightly with tissue and hang in a dry cleaning bag. Then sort of billow out the bag so it has air and tie at the bottom to keep the dress sort of protected in a bubble (<I>Queer Eye</I> trick). Then the men's wool suit to will be added to the garment bag for heft. Wish us luck!

I might be off my rocker for suggesting this, but I feel like I've heard rolling the dress up end over end will keep it from crumpling. Start at the bottom of the dress and roll it into itself until you reach the top, so you end up with a long tube of a dress?! You know what, don't listen to me. This sounds more nonsensical written down than in my head.

Have a fab trip!

I don't know if the organza is too delicate for hotel irons (or if there are complimentary irons at the hotel where you'll be staying)., but I think the garment bag is a great idea. Also, consider packing it with the gent's suits so it is a little protected by the woolens, perhaps? Have a great time! :o)
